What is the update on the Lynwood strip search settlement? ›

The Settlement has been finally approved and became effective on November 3, 2021. First round payments were mailed out on January 21, 2022, and second round payments were mailed out on July 7, 2023.

GTL will credit or refund 100% of the amount that GTL retained from your account due to inactivity. Payments to former customers may be reduced if the total credits/ refunds exceed the available Settlement fund. What are my rights?
