I am deeply saddened by the loss of Pat Reed.I have had the privilege to meet and work alongside international ‘superstars’ in the world of agility and among them, no one has had a greater influence on me than Pat.She was not just a friend and mentor; she was an inspiration, embodying the principles of adaptability and continuous learning that she so passionately taught.I have nothing but fond memories working with Pat, her ability to challenge the status quo and back up her convictions with guidance and wisdom were instrumental in shaping many of SoftEd’s engagements all over Australia. From “locking up” leaders in a bank vault to challenging government agencies on “doing less to achieve more”, some of the most cherished moments of my career has been from Pat navigating complex challenges with grace and insight. She undoubtedly left a permanent mark on all who had the privilege to work with her.My heart goes out to Walt W. and family, I can’t imagine the pain you must be feeling right now. I have fond memories of “Paddy melon Pat” and “Wallaby Walt” touring around Australia together. There is some comfort in that Pat’s legacy of knowledge, kindness, and dedication continues to inspire thousands. Pat will be deeply missed, but her impact will be felt for years to come. Rest in peace Pat.

It was a privilege to be able to spend time with Pat on her trips to Australia as well as virtually during lockdown. I have many, many pages of notes where I would right down not so much what she said, but how she said it. I was always in awe of the way she could inspire a room through her simple explanations and stories.

Lovely words Daniel Luschwitz. Pat was a truly special person to meet. She was so generous with her time and her advice. Watching her in action was just as much exciting as it was educational. She was a life-changer for many people. We've lost an absolute legend. Rest in peace, Pat.

Thank you Dan for letting us know. This humble giant of intentional transformation, agility and cultural wisdom was not just an extraordinary intellect, but an encourager to all of us for our own individual continuous improvement journey. I would loose track of time when I talked to her, and with someone who's time was always limited, her generosity with her own was so very gracious. Thank you Pat Reed and thoughts to you Walt and your family. I hope to age as gracefully, empathetically and as curious with the world as when I first met you.

So saddened to hear this Daniel Luschwitz I was only thinking of Pat recently. Her generosity and passion to mentor and guide legendary. I still catch up with a colleague monthly as a result of an introduction from Pat- eager always to share her knowledge and connect those with passion to transform and create a community. Such very sad news. What a huge loss to the Agile community. I thoroughly enjoyed my encounters with Pat on her visits to Australia and learned a tremendous amount from her. Best wishes to her friends, family and colleagues.

That is very sad news and I know Pat will be greatly missed here in Australia, as in sure she will be elsewhere. I can also reiterate your comments. Pat definitely had a big and positive impact with the time she had. My coaching is better for working with her and I know she had a lasting impact on the organisations I saw her work with.

Sad to hear of Pat’s passing. I remember fondly of the times we marched Pat round the Halls of Government in Canberra from meeting to meeting, spreading her words of wisdom. Marching might be a slight over exaggeration.
