shoutout to @ConEdison for shutting down my power to do street work while i'm trying to attend a zoom class AND THEY DIDNT EVEN NOTIFY ME THEY WERE DOING IT

  • Consolidated Edison Outage Map (11)Robert Gibbons (@robert__gibbons) reported

@kimmosc It's 2022. ConEdison, any utility, should send email, snail mail, say "big story!" to news media, to alert customers the price of power generation fuels was/is rapidly rising so expect bills of some estimated percentage higher. Being surprised by arriving bill in 2020 is inane.

  • Consolidated Edison Outage Map (12)ethanol (@eth31415) reported

@CristinaAimee @ConEdison Power companies are public utilities, so they must file a rate case MONTHS in advance before they can increase rates. The public is able to contest the increase during that time. If they didn't do this, absolutely bring them to court, but likely they did and you just missed it.

  • Consolidated Edison Outage Map (13)CoilPod LLC/The Coil Cleaning Consortium (@COILPOD) reported

@NYCDSA_Ecosoc @ZohranKMamdani @ConEdison Legislation requiring owners of refrigeration and AC in locations open to the public to do condenser coil cleaning and related servicing would be our hope —- either DIY by in-house staff or via an outside service company!

  • Consolidated Edison Outage Map (14)carolita johnson (CAJ) (@carolitajohnson) reported

@ConEdison Well this one didn’t and he turned out to be legit so maybe make sure they don’t do that in the future bc I hate to think what might happen if someone called them cops on a suspicious guy in this neighborhood.

  • Consolidated Edison Outage Map (15)Steph Leal 🌙 (@StephanieLeal7) reported

@ConEdison I just waited 3 hours to speak to an agent just so they can tell me that they can’t do anything to help me. Last month’s bill was close to $700 bc the marketplace has “higher rates” in the middle of NY winter! Tripling from prior bill without any notification!! #wtf

  • Consolidated Edison Outage Map (18)EJ Seymour (@Eddieeeee11) reported

@ConEdison Just got a call from a scammer using your phone number claiming non-payment of a bill. You may want to ensure this doesn't happen, as I'm sure some elderly folks or others who may be afraid of getting their service turned off will give these dirtbags money.

  • Consolidated Edison Outage Map (19)Gwendol Bowling (@gwendolbowling) reported
