After my treatment, I almost instantly noticed the positive effects of this pamper session – my skin was supple, plump, and glowing. The spa shop allows for you to purchase the same products that your specialist uses, so you can bring the spa home.

Dining experiences
After a day of pampering and lounging about, we knew we needed to get some food in us! The
One of the highlights of this trip was getting to experience table-side fine dining. Seagar’s Prime Steaks & Seafood is a AAA Four-Diamond steakhouse that offers an immense option of award-winning wines, fine cut steaks, and shareable plates. I personally enjoyed the tenderness of the steak and buttery roasted garlic. Dessert time was an entire experience itself – our server put on an unforgettable show, as he made Bananas Fosters right in front of us. Warm and served with a scoop of ice cream, I’m already anticipating my next trip just for the desert alone!
For a more laid-back dining experience, head to Barefoot’s Beachside Bar & Grill. This casual eatery offers a relaxed atmosphere outside where you can enjoy the sounds of the waves and feel the warm breeze. The Blackened Fish Tacos were a hit among our group—flavorful, fresh, and just the right amount of spice. Pair them with a Margarita on the Rocks (or two…) and you’ve got the recipe for a perfect beach day.
For breakfast, head to Sandcastles Restaurant. Made-to-order omelets, fresh fruit, and pastries are just some of the variety of options to choose from. Guests can also enjoy Sandcastles for some casual dining in the evening. Their pizza is fantastic!
Explore the Charm of Downtown Destin
While it might be tempting to spend all your time at the resort, the nearby town of Destin offers plenty of attractions that are worth exploring. On our last evening there, we ventured out to explore the many offerings of the city of Destin.
Just a short drive from the resort, Baytowne Wharf is a must-visit for anyone looking to experience the local culture. This waterfront area is the place to experience the exciting energy and partake in several activities such as boutique shopping, dancing to live music, or just enjoying a co*cktail while you stroll along the boardwalk.
We ended the evening at a lively and interactive bar called Rum Runners. Known for their fun dueling piano shows, it felt like the perfect way to enjoy our last evening. The musicians take requests and engage with the audience, creating a fun and lively atmosphere.
Enjoy the Resort’s Amenities and Activities
Back at the resort, there’s no shortage of activities to keep you entertained. For those who love the outdoors, the resort offers several options, including tennis courts, bike rentals, and access to championship golf courses.
It almost goes without saying, you’ll of course need to spend some time enjoying the beach. The resort’s private beach is well-maintained, with white sands and blue waters ahead. I spent a good amount of time lounging on the pool deck facing the beach with a cool drink in hand.
If you’re a cardio bunny like me, the resort also offers a fitness center, which is well-equipped with all the standard machines to help you get your morning movement in. Additionally, the resort offers morning yoga classes on the beach deck. It was the perfect way to start the day!
