14/07/2024: Beautiful restaurant in an idyllic setting, a quiet neighborhood on a little peninsula just over the port from Kinsale (<10 minute walk). The decor is really lovely and the space is full of art and plants and light. The food we ordered was delicious - I'm a vegetarian, and the risotto was great, while my mother had excellent seafood. We were too full for dessert but there were lots of options! I recommend booking in advance if you can.

The 3 courses were all of a high standard including fantastic steaks.The service was amongst the best we have experienced in some time.The prices are more the premium end, although this is a premium experience.

23/07/2024: Food was great it was busy but the main problem was 3 older ladies waiting for a table pulled two bar stool over next to our table the other lady sat on a chair so 2 were now looking down at us eating which very uncomfortable for us and we felt was rude of them. We did point it out when paying the bill which staff had forgotten to add two desserts which we informed the member of staff and did point out that it was uncomfortable being watched as we were eating , he did apologise and said it was very rude of them but was it not his or a member of staff place to have asked these customers to move to the bar or to the outside seating area where others customers were willing to wait for tables . Like I said at the start the food was fabulous but at times I was going to ask the ladies if they would like to help me to eat ,we left without coffee as it was so uncomfortable.

20/07/2024: Decent table service with food well presented, avoid the half lobster if you’re feeling hungry. A half a small cup of chips on the side with a side salad did not supplement my hunger. Good job Dinos chipper was still open afterwards.

03/06/2024: Everything here is a work of culinary art. When we came there were only 4 or 5 offerings for food (they seem to have cakes in addition though) but each dish was such a hearty, flavorful surprise. The mushroom toast was about 4 inches tall, piled with perfectly sauteed mushrooms, an entire spring salad, and I added the halloumi which was grilled perfectly. All meals should be this thoughtfully done and packed with flavor. Even the sparkling lemonade was the best one had outside of Italy. Perfection to savor!

24/06/2024: Well, on Tuesday, 18 June, I had a late lunch early dinner at Kitty o se’s and later that evening, I was deathly ill or I literally thought I was going to die. I had major diarrhea and vomiting and I have a heart issue so I was really afraid of dehydration. Got to see the doctor next morning. She said it was food poisoning, which I knew it was, so don’t eat the calamari !!!!!
