Mohammad Mostafa Kamal is a brave warrior who sacrificed his life for Bangladesh’s independence in the 1971 liberation war.

On December 16, 1947, he was born in the West Hajipur village of Daulatkhan Upazila in Bhola. Thanks to his father’s job, he spent most of his childhood life in the cantonment.

Growing up with a dream of becoming an army member at the age of 20, Mostafa Kamal joined the 4th East Bengal Regiment of Pakistan. In 1971, he participated in the war for the East Bengal Regiment in Brahminbaria.

During the war, he was verbally given the responsibility ofLance Naik. During the liberation war, this brave son was martyred by Pakistani invader force in the equal battle.

In 2008, the Birshreshtha Mostafa Kamal Memorial Museum and Library was establishedat Mostafa Nagar in Alinagar Union, about 7 km from Bhola district city, to honor and commemorate the sacrifice of this brave freedom fighter.
