On November 11, 2014, CEO Jerry Golub, along with Executive Chairman of the Board Neil Golub and the company's COO Scott Grimmett, announced that the chain would be changing its name to "Market 32" a nod to the year of the company's founding (1932) by brothers Ben and Bill Golub.

Today, Robert's son Danny Wegman, and Danny's daughters Colleen and Nicole, lead the company. Wegmans' big, bright, and beautiful stores offer a shopping experience that customers adore; they rave about the open- air market ambiance, the selection of foods, and the award- winning service.

In November 2021, Price Chopper/Market 32 and Tops Markets completed their merger, with the new parent company named Northeast Grocery Inc. (NGI). The merger virtually doubled the two Northeast grocers' collective footprints, with a combined total of nearly 300 stores.

The stores are owned locally by the Ball, Cosentino, McKeever and Queen families, all of whom live in Kansas City and oversee daily store operations.

In 2016, Rouses acquired LeBlanc's Food Stores, expanding its presence in the metro Baton Rouge area with 9 additional locations. All LeBlanc's Food Stores were rebranded as Rouses Markets.

Golub, an active 80-year-old who is executive board chairman of the Golub Corporation, has remarkably taken part in 45 of the 47 Pro-Ams over the years.

The last Price Chopper store, located in Bridlewood Mall, closed permanently on December 20, 2020. Another location previously open at Jane and Sheppard in Toronto closed on September 13, 2019.
