What does start a new history do in Demonfall? ›

New History in Demonfall basically lets you reset your character and start fresh. It's like a personal time machine for your game!

Choose Slayer if you like versatility! Demons can regenerate health and have powerful blood arts. It's a no-brainer. Being a Slayer means you get cool swords and breathing techniques, but Demons have those OP regen abilities and blood demon arts.

The only way to become a human is to defeat the Tutorial Demon at the beginning of the game. In order to become a Slayer, you must complete the Final Selection, located in the Sakura Passage. Upon completion, you will spawn in the Slayer Corps Tavern and your character will now be wearing a Slayer uniform.

Perks. 20% EXP Gain. Immunity to sunlight (Demons/Hybrids only).

When used by a Hybrid player, gives you Kokushibo's six eyes as a cosmetic. Furthermore, this item is not droppable due to being a boss drop. (The drop rate of the Kokushibo blood dropping is 25% chance Infinity castles.) The six eyes that are given by drinking Kokushibo's blood.

It is taught by Water Trainer Urokodaki in Coast Forest. He is at a house with a boulder in front of it. If you have the Tomioka Family, you will automatically get Water Breathing 11th form: Dead Calm.

In the Final Selection, you will most likely obtain more than 20 Demon Horns, as you have to kill 30 demons to complete the exam. Demon Horns can also be sold for a decent amount of Yen, 25 Yen per horn, at the Slayer Corps HQ.

Currently there are only 4 uses for the Demon Collar, one is obtaining Flame, Love, and Serpent Breathing, and the other is to forge a Crystal Key. You can also sell this item to John for 200 Yen at Demon Slayer Corps HQ.

This breathing style revolves around punishing and countering attacks. Due to the amount of moves that are perfect for punishing and give high mobility, it is recommended to dash backwards out of a combo, that you have blocked, and then use a lunging attack from this breath style to start your combo.

The weakest tier is C tier. These styles are ineffective for both PVP and PVE. While you can use them, you're better off with other Breathing Styles.

However, you cannot learn more than one breathing style, but if you desire to try the other breathing styles, you can reset your breathing style by drinking a potion called "Breath Indict" that can be acquired from the Black Merchant and then, find another cultivator that specializes in their breathing style they teach ...

To start a fresh history in Demonfall, you'll need to reset your progress. Just head over to the character selection screen and choose the 'Delete Character' option. Enjoy your new adventure!

When a Wipe Potion is consumed, it will completely discard any of your progress in the story so far, similar to starting a New History. After use it will rejoin you and you will appear at at the Character Customization screen with your previous family and 2 extra spins.

When players are below 30% health the Demon Slayer Mark will activate for 2 minutes and with a 10 minute cooldown, it will increase your healing, by 10%, respective breathing damage and sprinting speed. If both your Clan and Demon Slayer Mark match you will gain a 10% damage buff when the Slayer Mark is activated.
