The Day of the Bright Sun is a festival to celebrate the event of Peach ending the 330-yearlong Age of Darkness by clearing the clouds and letting the sun rays shine over the land once again around 100 years prior. It occurs on the 19th day of Month 1 every year.
During the first year, at the fireside meeting on Day 14, Mayor Gale requests that all citizens of Portia participate in the gift-giving event by donating an item. The builder can participate in this through Mission: Present for the Celebration. Although the festival will occur every year, there will not be a fireside about it after year 1. The mission, however, is repeatable each year.
At the start of the day of the festival, an airship will fly from the north of the Workshop towards town. Once the event begins, a few gift boxes will be seen falling from it at a time, tumbling to the ground. Townsfolk will follow its path and run in a mad scramble for each box. If the player is able to reach a box before someone else claims it, they can press the interact button ("E" on keyboard, "A" on controller) to pick it up. The airship travels from Peach Plaza towards Central Plaza, following the road. After the event, it stops dropping presents and flies off again.
The player needs to be hasty and retrieve as many gifts before the event ends. Most townsfolk will participate in the event (making the festival a good time and place to give everyone gifts to improve their Relationship) and are able to claim the gifts. After claiming a gift, the player receives a letter of gratitude from the benefactor.

When the Day of the Bright Sun, present drop finishes, special group photo opportunities will become available. They are marked on the map with icon. Activate the glittering camera sign (right) and you'll take a group photo with the people standing next to the sign. The pose is unique to this festival and group of people. Try and get them all before the day ends!

Mint takes frequent naps, and can sometimes be found napping during the day either under an Apple Tree outside Central Plaza or in a chair on the same café balcony where Pinky sleeps. If the player attempts to interact with him while napping, he will respond as normal, though he may remain sitting as if he were asleep.
You don't need to have played My Time at Portia first, but Sandrock has enough QoL improvements over it that it might be tough playing Portia after Sandrock.
Holding a wedding costs 3000 Gols. On the day of your wedding, go to the desk just to the left of the entrance in the Temple. It is possible to set a wedding during a, however, the game will notify the player that it may result in some guests missing the wedding, before they confirm the date.
Gale will eventually ask the main character to join him in the Weave for a little magical session. Any answers that reflect intelligence, sensitivity, or creativity will impress him, and those who are looking for the romance option can choose to kiss him.
You have another chance to detonate the Netherese orb before confronting the Elder Brain at the end of Act Three. Gale can use the orb here and will teleport you and your companions to a safe space before blowing himself up to destroy the Elder Brain.

Alongside crafting Dew into Water, you can also purchase Water from the Water World store, located in the western corner of the town. Burgess runs this store, and each day, you can purchase up to five units of Water at a reduced cost as part of the town's water conservation efforts, generally at X Gols per unit.
Near the end of the ruin is a section with moving platforms over a pit of sewage that must be navigated. After a fight with the Rat King in the final room, the pollution flow can be shut off at a valve. Before defeating the Rat King, if the player gets knocked out once, then they have the option to exit.
Dee-Dee Transports cannot be manually driven. Instead, they can only be ridden in a cutscene after interacting with Dee-Dee Stops within the Dee-Dee Transport System.
Obtaining. Ginger can be gathered in the Collapsed Wasteland. It appears as a plant with thin green leaves, easily distinguishable from the nearby Bamboo Papaya plants.
Accepting Mint's proposal earns the player the First Love achievement. Mint will always reject the Wedding Ring gifted by player before they complete (or fail) this mission. There is no penalty for rejecting Mint's proposal. The player can propose to Mint with a Wedding Ring later if they decide to do so.
Obtaining. Teeth are rarely dropped by Bandirats and Panbats, and uncommonly dropped by Jump Dancers in the Sewage Plant. The player can also commission the Civil Corps to collect Teeth for them, if the player has a workshop of rating B or higher.
Here is how to get the mini game working. On the Day of Memories at 21:00 instead of running round wait by the gift exchange out side Gales Office. Gale will move over to it by 21:00 and the mini game should pop up telling you what to do. Then you can do the mini game.
Setting the game speed to 0.6 will almost double the length of the day, while setting it to 3.0 will cause time to flow the fastest, with 1.0 being the default speed.
